What is Summer Advising?

Summer advising will be your chance to talk to a faculty or dean about the first-year academic program. It’s an important opportunity for new students to meet to learn more about the possibilities of study in a vibrant liberal arts and engineering space. You will be able to ask any question big or small about the academic program.

How Does it Work?

Your first session will be with an advisor and a small group of peers. The second session will be individual. You will sign up for your individual appointment at the end of your group session.

When is it?

Advising will take place on Zoom and begin in late May and run through mid-June.

You can follow this link to our form **LINK COMING SOON**. After you sign up, a confirmation will be sent to your Lafayette email address.

Is there anything else I should know?

The Lafayette community loves parents and the wonderful support they provide our students. However, because you will be interacting with peers and an advisor in these sessions, we ask that parents and guardians not attend.
